01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
About this place
Sink a fork into the classic cheesecake and it yields with rich density before melting smoothly on the tongue. Lightly sweet with a refreshing, yogurt-like tang, it balances beautifully against its crisp base, making it a natural companion to explore alongside the shop's coffees.
Located along the main avenue just steps from the Hon-Komagome Station exit, COFFEE STAIN is a compact coffee stand with a handful of seats. Hand-drip pour-overs are available in light, medium, and dark roasts, featuring single-origin beans from Ethiopia, Kenya, and Rwanda, as well as a medium-dark decaf option. The menu caters to any mood, from clear, clean cold brew coffee with a smooth finish to gentle, milk-sweet café lattes and richly robust cappuccinos.
The baked goods counter offers plenty of variety, including cinnamon-scented carrot cake packed with nuts, moist banana bread, sea salt butter cake, and seasonal pound cakes. Opening at 8:00 in the morning, it works just as well for an eat-in break as it does for a quick morning takeaway or an afternoon snack.
